Another Birthday - Bad News/ Good News - Megacure or Zombie Contagion??

So today marks the anniversary of when my mother painfully shot me out of her womb 34 years ago at a quaint hospital in New England.

That poor lady. Love you mom!

When you're over 30, Birthdays become more and more mundane (at least for me), hopefully this will change in coming years.

On a personal level, I'm working through some really negative and messed up territory in my life that I hope to be done with immediately following my return from this tour that I'm trudging through.

Sigh....

Moving on to more positive things:

I got some very good news yesterday (that may as well be an early birthday present) in a call from a Hollywood writer that is interested in purchasing some concepts from a Sci-Fi oriented synopsis that I submitted awhile back.

The material will be used in a draft script that aims to relaunch a legendary Sci-Fi franchise that I'm not at liberty to discuss right now.

Very stoked!

If this thing gets green lit, it's a big deal for me and my toe would be wiggling in the door to hopefully writing more script oriented things in the future.

I will post the synopsis soon, feedback either way would be much appreciated!

COOL STUFF FOR YOUR ROTTEN BRAIN:

I ran across an article HERE that indicates a very MAJOR medical breakthrough in viral drug research.

This could treat and eliminate a lot of viral ailments as long big business and big brother keep their greasy palms off of it. Which we all know they won't.

The realist-cynic in me says that only mega-rich will likely get access to this once it is available.

Of course that is, IF it ever becomes available.

Or maybe it will just lead to the mutation and spread of THE zombie apocalypse contagion that we've all been waiting for!

Until next time...

It's.... like... I was in.... PHASE SPACE.... M'annnnnn....

Some Beyond Space-Time stuff here aka What Einstein May Have Missed.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah....

So here I am.

Another waste of server space to join in the ranks of other self-important waterbags who have decided to start doing this and thought that someone will read it.

Blogging was always an area of internet nerdiness that I swore off participating in.

With that said, the 20 sided die just bounced off of the DM's screen, landing on a 20.

My nerdiness and geek stats have just leveled up!

Here's the deal with this blog:

Regular updates will be posted regarding writings and other projects that I am working on.

Connections will be established/ alliances formed with creative folks outside of my social circle and comfort zone.

Links will be posted and topics will be addressed regarding the weird stuff that I find... fascinating.
